I spoke to Anthony from the Wallbirds about whether the Pigeon Detectives lived up to their wet-t shirt competition hosting, rioting reputation, their forthcoming releases and appearances at Reading festival.

I snatched a quick chat with swedish band Friska Viljor just before they were due onstage at Hoxton Bar and Grill. They were drinking pints of "fruity" beer and told me they were old enough to be my dad while I taught them the word for "soft pants" in English. good times.

It's quite noisy for a couple of minutes at the beginning as the last band were just finishing - but that's how it is backstage!

I had a surreal evening filled with special effects, noise and cables when Trippy Wicked came into the studios and played a plugged-in live session at Life FM. Sea shanties and cosmic rainbows ahoy!!

DIY Womp (Do It Yourself Word of Mouth Promotions) explain what they're all about and why putting on an arty gig with glowsticks in the middle of the woods was a good idea. They brought in some tracks from unsigned artists from the Watford and Harrow area incl. Stuart James, By Starlight and BlaBlahBlah.

Watford 'gang' Wartgore Hellsnicker came into the studio with 7 of their members to talk about life in the supergroup and play some acoustic tracks. Includes a cover of The Vaseline's Son of a Gun and their new single C+F= powww!
